My first cake decorating class in a nut shell.
Super fun, super messy and I am just super clumsy.
buttercream icing that took me about 45 minutes just to mix.

the icing...(supposed to be light blue, actually was sort of gray.)
the iced cake prior to smoothing...
what was supposed to be red icing, it's actually salmon...
my two-lined rainbow because I was so slow!!
and then...
Cake on the floor. Major bummer.
Here's to more decorating next week and no cake on the floor.
oh my gosh! I was SO sad reading this when I saw the cake on the floor!! Your rainbow was pretty cool though.. I am thoroughly impressed with your skills!
