I came across Allora Handmade today while browsing through another blog. Really cute handmade necklaces, braceletes and headbands. I am thinking of getting this one for myself, but in hot pink.

Naomi's birth
I am so thrilled to finally have our Naomi Hope here! She is, in my opinion, absolutely perfect! From her dark, thick hair and chubby cheeks to her long skinny toes! We are in love with her and enjoying every moment. She has been a great sleeper so far which has been awesome!
I will share her birth story when I have more time to write, it was quick and pretty easy compared to Noah's birth. I am so thankful! Here are some pictures from this last week.

I decided to post this a little bit early, being that our daughter is due any day now! I can't believe, September 16th will be 4 years since Adam and I were married. We dated and were engaged and married in less than a year so it has been almost 5 years total together.
I so love this man. He is an amazing father, husband and leader. He has walked me through so much spiritually and emotionally. He was there for me and loved me even when I felt like I was unloveable. He showed the love of God to me, through his love for me, which not only drew me into my relationship with God, but also into a wonderful relationship with him (Adam.) I will always be thankful for his selfless heart. He has always put me ahead of him, and loved me with a love I didn't know even existed.
Our marriage has been a blast, becoming parents has been even more amazing, and now we are awaiting our 2nd's child's arrival, and have an even stronger love than when we first got married.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from our 5 years together!

thank you Jennifer for a good laugh...
This goes out to the publix employee who made me feel so good about myself today. =)
(Not to offend anyone who has maybe said these things to me, but this is just humorous to me. Enjoy! )
1. "I Feel Pregnant, Too!"
Unless you are actually carrying a child in your uterus as well, then no you don't feel pregnant.
2. "You're Huge."
Maybe she is looking a little large, but she doesn't need to hear it. Would it be appropriate to comment on someone's weight if they were not expecting? No! Same common sense rules apply to pregnant women, too.
3."You Really Shouldn't . . . "
Exercise. Pick up that box. Stand up. Pregnant women are not ill, they are merely with child and making them feel like they have a serious condition only alienates them.
4. "I Don't Think You Should . . ."
Get an epidural. Have a natural birth. Have your mother in the birthing room. A pregnant mama's personal birth plan is just that: personal. If she want's your opinion, she'll ask.
5. "Enjoy Your Last Few Months of Freedom."
Having a baby is exciting and the last thing any expectant mom wants to hear is that she has just issued her personal life a death sentence. Negative comments about child rearing shouldn't be spoken of.
6. "You Probably Shouldn't Eat That."
Pregnant women are pretty tuned in to what they can and can't eat — as well as what they want and don't want to eat. If she's going for it, then by all means, let her enjoy.
7. "Your Baby Is Going to Be Huge/Tiny."
What's on the mind of nearly every pregnant woman? How baby is getting out. Doctors looking at ultrasounds are the only ones ever allowed to estimate how big baby is going to be — and even then, anything less or more than normal is bound to set off a mommy-to-be.
8. "What If Your Baby . . ."
Is a hermaphrodite? Has a cleft lip? Is deaf? Mamas-to-be spend a great deal of downtime thinking of their own "what ifs" and they don't need anyone else adding fuel to the fire.
9. "You Look Tired."
Carrying a baby for nine months is hard work. Chances are if she looks tired, she is. However, the last thing she needs is anyone reminding her how exhausted she feels or looks. Nothing short of, "You look fantastic," should be said to a pregnant woman about her appearance.
10. "Anything Yet?" <---Rebecca's personal favorite
If you haven't received word that her baby's been born, then chances are that she is not holding out any information. Everyone is eager to welcome the pending bundle of joy into the world, but none so much as an expectant mama. Asking her if anything has happened yet only reminds her that she's still very, very pregnant.

song of the week...
I am really enjoying this whole album, by Bethel Live, but mainly this song right now. I could, and do, listen to it over and over. Adam has asked me in the past, if I could teach one lesson or "sermon", what would it be. This pretty much sums up my past and why I am who I am today.
I've Found a Love (Love Came Down)
When I call on your name you answer
When I fall You are there by my side
You delivered me out of darkness
Now I stand in the hope of new life
By Grace I'm free
You've rescued me
All I am is yours
I've found a love greater than life itself
I've found a hope stronger and nothing compares
I once was lost, now I'm alive in You
You're my God and my firm foundation
It is You whom I'll trust at all times
I give glory and praise, adoration
To my Saviour who's seated on high
"I will praise you, LORD, for you have rescued me." Ps 30:1
